Alexandra Provins is a speculative fiction writer. Originally from the Buffalo, NY area, she earned her BA in English Education in 2012 from the University of Delaware and her master's in psychology from Harvard University Extension School in 2021. Her master's thesis won the Dean's Prize for Outstanding ALM Thesis in Psychology. She currently lives in Northern California with her husband and toddler and teaches high school English. 

She is represented by Jessica Mileo at Inkwell Management.
